Will vitamins/herbal remedies help my thinning/loss of hair?

I am a 23 year old male and my hair has been thinning and falling out a little for about 6 months to a year now. So far I have only tried Rogaine for a few months which hasn’t seemed to help much (although as of a few weeks ago, I was missing doses quite often… I am trying to not skip any now). The weird thing is that I have a very thick beard.

I usually do not take a multivitamin or any supplements, so my main question is, will vitamins (like A, C, E, B-Complex, Inositol, Choline, Biotin, etc…) help me out for the hair on my HEAD? I have read that these can do wonders. But the reason I am skeptical is because the hair on my face grows with no problem, so will the vitamins make any difference for my head?

If vitamins cannot help, I am willing to try some herbal remedies. Any suggestions on these? As a last resort, I will get Propecia from my doctor. Any advice? Thanks!

Shawn

The most recent research into hair loss has linked fatty diets (hamburgers, fries, etc) with male baldness. So the best natural cure is to change your diet to eliminate saturated fat. It is the reason Asian men who live in Asia do not go bald as often as American men.

It’s called male pattern baldness (what you have) and not much you can do about it since it’s what you genes have determined that you will have or not have.
Even surgical hair implants don’t do much good, since if your going bald, you will still go bald. Sorry that I can’t offer you any good news. But that’s what it is.

Your hair is what you eat. If you eat correctly and drink enough water, 80 percent of your hair problems are solved. Eat a healthy and a balanced diet rich in protein and minerals. Oil your hair regularly, include a lot of milk, almonds and greens in your diet and drink at least 12 to 14 glasses of water daily. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

    Hi There,

The only solution to the problem of baldness is to use natural treatments. They work in exactly the same way as synthetic prescription drugs, by blocking DHT and preventing it from binding to hair follicles. However, since they contain only natural ingredients, they do not have any side-effects commonly associated with synthetic chemicals. This makes natural hair loss treatments an attractive alternative to prescription drugs.

The only product I will ever recommend to people is a product called Provillus™. What Provillus™ is, is the first homeopathic, completely made of all natural ingredients, FDA approved hair loss solution ever made. Right now, they are offering a two months supply for free ($5 for the shipping which is pennies compared to everything else sold out there). I used to have problems with hair loss when I was about 20 years old due to stress. I ordered some of this stuff after trying other things like rogaine, balancing my diet, proper rest etc. And after two weeks of applying Provillus™ I saw great results! And only after 5 weeks of usage, all the hair that had fallen out had been completely restored!

Do yourself a favor, and get this stuff because it works! Heres the website for it: http://www.hair-on-your-head-today.com

    Hope This Helps!
