what’s the cure for dandruff?

27 June 2009 10 Comments

I have been having this dandruff problem for the past 1 year. I dn't know how to get rid of it.. I wash my hair everyday and I had also used dandruff shampoos like Nizoral and Selsun Blue, but nothing seems to help. I have noticed that I am itching a lot in the nights when I sleep. And my hair is clean before I go to bed and it is full of dandruff the next day morning I wake up. I have also noticed that I am having abnormal hair loss due to this. everyday I find about 30-50 strands of hair in the pillow.. Please suggest me some home reedy or whatever to get rid of this itching.

Well, this might be weird, but try squeezing lemon juice on your scalp like 5-10 minutes before you wash your hair. You should do it everytime your about to wash your hair. If you put lemon juice and your scalp hurts/ burns then wash your hair and don't use the lemon anymore.

Try Head and Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo. Don't use it more than once a week or it will make your hair dry but i worked wonders for me. After the first few times I used it all my dandruff was gone! If the problem persists, then consult your doctor or a dermatologist.

I put mayo in my kids hair……..two of them get really bad dry scalp during the winter and this really works!!!!! You apply it to the scalp generously and cover your head will some plastic. let it soak in for like 30 min………..then rinse with cool water………don't wash until the next day. But you have to wash it good………..wash it with head and shoulders, they make some with alot of moisturizers………..or just wash hair with a really heavy moisturizing shampoo and conditoner.

Head and Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo, I use it everyday cause I have thick hair, and it works for me. Also try taking a B vitamin pill, my hair was falling out also and ever since I started taking it, it stopped.

It seems like just regular (non-medicated) ones that are deep-conditioning / with lots of moisturizers help more than those medicated ones do. Don't use a hair dryer either.

First off you should see your doctor to find out if what you have is just dandruff and not another serious skin condition. Try using something like Neutrogena's T Gel, but don't use it everyday. Good luck.

You can use any dandruff shampoo but it will work better if you follow this method. Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 6 tablespoons of hot water.Dab with cotton into the scalp, parting the hair with a comb.It should preferably be used at bed time. Next morning shampoo the hair. More simple remedies for dandruff at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/
