In the late 1960’s, after the invention of the first working laser, a researcher named Endre Mester attempted to prove that exposure to laser lights caused cancer.  Curiously enough, the mice he used did not contract any such illness, but rather showed signs of quicker hair regrowth after exposure.  Today, decades later, low level laser therapy is used by some as a method for men’s and women’s hair restoration as a safer alternative to hair transplant surgery and medication.
