I’m 20 years old and recently switched my birth control pill from microgestin fe 1/20 to ortho tri cyclen lo. Ive been on the ortho for about 4 months and my hair has been falling out in clumps the entire time… it feels like ive lost half my hair. This happened on the microgestin but it stopped by the 2nd month and grew back… but it doesn’t seem to be easing up and it’s frightening. Does anyone know what to do about this or has anyone experienced this before? Should I switch back to my old pill? I heard if you go off the pill during a hair loss period it will get even worse. I don’t know what to do… please help.
