SLS cause hairloss? Organic or natural shampoos the answer?

I posted the question before. didn’t get many answers so, I’m posting it again! I had a hairloss problem that was not hereditary. It was something in the shampoo. Now the question that I ask myself is: Was I allergic to something in the shampoo? Like mabe SLS? I’m not sure! But I do know that SLS (Sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate) can damage your hair folicles, and possibly cause hair loss. http://www.hairlossbuddy.com/20/sodium-lauryl-sulfate/ I am happy to say that I have switched to an organic brand called “Jason” and I have had significant hair regrowth! I’ve been using the one that has sea kelp in it. And have had tremendous results. Jason is all natural in spite of what some have claimed. I have read the ingredients and it does not contain “sodium myeth sulfate’ or “sodium lauryl/lureth sulfates”.

Keep using it! It’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a commercial brand that does not contain SLS. But, if you want to try one I used to sell alot of a brand called Nioxin when I worked in the mall. It is formulated for hair regrowth and to prevent or slow down) the loss of hair. SO MANY cancer patients came in and said that it was the best thing for them. Check it out at: http://www.nioxin.com

If that is what caused your hair loss then don’t use anything that contains it. Natural shampoos are great. But so are professional products. You were obviously allergic to something in the shampoo, if that was all you used on your hair. Since your hair is growing back, you kind of answered your own question. The only sure way is to have yourself tested and see if that is what the cause is.
