Is it obvious to have hair loss while on a diet?

If it is, what can I do to avoid it? I’ve been on a diet (self made, but I do eat loads of veggies and fruits to get all vitamins) for the past 4 months or so.

recently (since a month may be) I’ve been having a severe hair loss. I don’t have a doctor to consult here, what should I do?

Do you think having a multivitamin and biotin supplement help me?

also, when I’ll start eating more, will my hair grow back?

please please give all your suggestions, advice.
