my mom has alopecia. she at first started to lose her hair in places, then she kind of lost it all. she wears a wig. you can try rogaine, or another such product. there are certain places that make special wigs for cancer patients, people with alopecia, etc. and they look like REAL hair, not a wig, because they're made of real hair. the company is called peggy knight solutions. good luck.
