Also, i have heard of several products on the market that slow down and can stop the hair loss process and even cause it to grow back. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks

You should have it about shoulder length, with long layers. While styling, put large velcro rollers on the top "crown" portion of your hair. Then do your makeup, whatever. Blow the rest of your hair dry. Then make sure the hair around the rollers is dry, remove the rollers, and then style that portion of your hair. This adds volume.
