I have had tis problem since more than a yr & now my hair’s lesser than a quarter of wat It initially had been. I can see my scalp without even parting my hair.
Recently I dyed it at home & te proportion of the solutions went wrong.. or the dye was bad.. watever the case, now its worse than ever. IM really worried.
Plz give me some suggestions. I’m willing to try anything. IM a medical student & have ben visitin dermatologists since a yr but there’s little progress. Im recently using a steroid but after dyeing stopped using the Minoxidil hair spray (which too has contradictory reviews)
Help~!

Depending on your type of hair loss, treatments are available. If a medicine is causing your hair loss, your doctor may be able to prescribe a different medicine. Recognizing and treating an infection may help stop the hair loss. Correcting a hormone imbalance may prevent further hair loss.
Medicines may also help slow or prevent the development of common baldness. One medicine, minoxidil (brand name: Rogaine), is available without a prescription. It is applied to the scalp. Both men and women can use it. Another medicine, finasteride (brand name: Propecia) is available with a prescription. It comes in pills and is only for men. It may take up to 6 months before you can tell if one of these medicines is working.
If adequate treatment is not available for your type of hair loss, you may consider trying different hairstyles or wigs, hairpieces, hair weaves or artificial hair replacement.
Take a good multi vitamin, and massage your scalp to increase blood flow.
Hair loss can be caused by hormonal imbalance (adrenals, thyroid, testosterone, etc.) stress, and damage to the hair that makes it break off or pull out. It sounds like you may have more than one, or even all of those issues going on here.
The laser comb, HairMax actually has proven results, but if this is a hormonal issue, you need to get it corrected.
The first thing I would do is stop dying your hair. If your hair is already damaged, it can only make matters worse. Is it only the hair on your head, or are you losing hair in other places (eyebrows, arms, eyelashes, etc)? If it’s only the hair on your head, I *think* you can rule out Alopecia. All the same, try looking up "hair loss" in Wikipedia and see if any of the symptoms listed match your own. It’s strange that your doctors have not pinpointed what the problem is. Try asking a doctor about Rogaine – I hear it takes a few months to start to work, but it does help hair to grow back. Best of luck, and I hope things go well for you!!
The average woman looses up to 40-100 strands a day, talke some vitamins and shampoo and condition with Herbal Essences Break’s Over or Garnier Fructis Curl And Shine
That sucks & i feel ur pain! But unfortunatley there is no way to prevent hair lossige! it is a natural thing that god made & we cant stop it! sorry
