HELP!!!!! Im Losing way too much Hair at just 18 years old?

My hair has been shedding for about a month now. But it recently started getting worse within the last week! Im scared I don’t know if I have a disease or what. I know its an internal problem because its shedding from the root. People have started noticing, even my co-workers who are older men. When old guys start to notice that’s when you know somethings wrong. Could the hair loss be from stress? Ive been under really bad stress before, and I didn’t lose this much hair! should I go to a Dermatologist first? Should I get some blood tests done? should I be Checked for stds???? Please give some good advice

Definitely go to a doctor, but hair loss can also be due to the amount you straighten or colour your hair. Hair also falls out naturally, every day.

iron deficiency causes hair to fall out. (and dark circles under eyes)
I would take iron and a multiple B vite to cover all basses.

I think you have Telogen Effluvium. Its a non permanent, not scaring form of alopecia that is caused by a sudden shock to the stress system or lack of proper nutrition, also can be caused by taking a birth control pill. And the thing is, it doesnt happen until about 2 to 6 months after the event/s occur. Make sure you are eating 3 healthy meals a day, take a multi vitamin or a super b complex vitamin and biotin supplement, which is good for the growth of hair skin and nail health. Go to you dermetologist right away and tell him what you’ve been experiencing. I bet he will tell you that you have telogen effluvium, so try googling it. Hope everything works out for you babe.

Can u help me with my hair question?

it is caused by stress. You should see a doctor and take a vacation.

Honey- I do know that stress can cause hair loss. Also, poor nutrition might cause this. Are you taking a multivitamin.
Another common occurrence that causes this is hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. Do you have any other symptoms?

It may just be a vitamen definency (spelling?) I would go to your doctor first. If it is just stress then you probably just need a vacation. Dont worry to much about it will grow back and the doctors will tell you whats going on. Good luck :)

People Esp women lose hair on a daily basis…Prenatal vitamins enhance your hair growth, coloring your hair on a regular basis stresses your hair and then it eventually kills the cells and the hair falls out…if the volume of your hair is the problem then you need to go to a specialist…basically if you think that the hair falling out does not matter to the volume or look of your hair then its okay but if you are really perturbed about the loss of your hair then you should go to the specialist… but normally we all lose hair measurably to a handful or so a day

The best thing to cure this to add 1 or 2 saffron lines in a drink , ideally with milk.
