I am currently using nioxin system 1 for fine/normal hair. i use the cleanser and the scalp therapy, but have yet to try the scalp treatment. I experienced hairloss due to extensions a little less than 2 years ago. i notice that my hair is progressively becoming thicker, but it still is not where it used to be. I was wondering if perhaps i should switch to system 2 or 3. I have colored my hair before and had highlights, but it was only a couple of times and i have not done this for awhile. i was wondering if it would be better for me to switch to the chemically treated hair (system 3). Basically, the first time i used system 1 i noticed a huge difference. However, i have been using it for almost 2 months now and i feel that my hair has adapted to it. i am not noticing that thickening effect that i once had noticed. i was wondering if it might be right to change to a different/stronger nioxin system. Does anyone have any advice/recommendations?

Nioxin System 1 is generally used for complimenting your hair loss treatments because it is a good scalp cleanser and contains ingredients that can help boost your hair volume. However if you are facing Pattern Baldness, Nioxin is not enough for reversing or stopping hair loss. It might just buy you some time.
There are FDA approved treatments for hair loss like Propecia and Minoxidil, which fights the cause of Pattern Hair Loss. You will also need to consider certain changes in your lifestyle as well as getting supplements to positively stop your hair loss.
