Sometimes the smoothing and sleekening conditioners can make temporary changes to the hair follicle and can cause alot of hair loss. Have you noticed alot of hair in your brush? Typically when you have excess hair in the brush, it CAN be due to the conditioner. If you have noticed it in the brush, on your clothes, when you run your hands through your hair, it is more likey dietary, disease or hereditary balding. Change conditioners to a conditioner that does not over condition if you have alot of hair in your brush, especially when its wet. Try Giovanni brand. Garnier and Pantene are not so great. Also lack of nutrients can cause hair loss. It is possible to eat healthily on a budget. Fresh vegetables, fruit, peanut butter and whole grain wheat bread… Kudos for caring for you animals even though times are tight and not dumping them at the pound. Hang in there and keep exercising to help you de-stress.
RELAX!!
That is the biggest paragraph of details ever lol. You can tell your stressed!
Try to eat more fruit and veg rather than noodles and bread. Maybe contact your mum, ask if she may help you financially.
Just get a job and stick it out for a while.. it must be hard but you must do it.
Good luck
Stress. Rare side effects of conditioners. Chemo-therapy. Various other reasons, talk to your doctor if you’re really worried.
your cousin is right stress plays a big factor on hair loss and if your not eating you need to take vitamins everyday. the garnier should not have anything to do with it.Also if you are taken any medication some meds can make your hair fall out. Good Luck I hope things get better for you. Sorry for your situation. you may need to see a Doctor if it gets worse
It could be;
1) illness, (2) poor nutrition, (3) medications, (4) medical treatments, (5) recent high fever, flu or surgery, (6) infancy (7) childbirth.
Eating a balanced, healthy diet ( including vitamins, fibre, protein) is important for a lot of reasons, and it really benefits your hair. Also drinking a lot of water.
If you’re losing hair, some doctors recommend using baby shampoo, shampooing no more than once a day, and lathering gently. Don’t rub your hair too vigorously with a towel, either. Many hair experts suggest you consider putting away the blow dryer and air drying your hair instead. If you can’t live without your blow dryer, try using it on a low heat setting.
Style your hair when it’s dry or damp. Styling your hair while it’s wet can cause it to stretch and break. And try to avoid teasing your hair, which can cause damage. Finally, be careful when using chemicals — such as straighteners or colour — on your hair, and avoid frequent use of chemical treatments.
xx.
It could very easily be from stress or from lack of vitamins/minerals. How has you eating been? Are you eating healthy? I lost hair from both, but depending on your age it can grow back if you resolve these issues. You may want to check with a doctor and have your blood checked for vitamin defficiencies just in case.
cancer maybe
Stress can do it. I had that problem for a while, and my doctor said stress. But it was really because I dyed it too much to fast. ANd damaged it really bad. Just try to relax and find ways to relieve your stress. If it keeps happening see a free clinic.
stress and not eating right. noodles and bread are not going to do it.. and the depression is probably making it worse.. if its not working where you are maybe you need to consider going back to pa since it all started w/ that move to fl
it could be stress related, if your still having your doubts after trying to relax, id consult a doctor
Vitamin deficiency.
Stress.

if it’s getting thinner all over, and not in spots then it is probably just stress, and hormone changes..
and to put your mind at ease.. it CAN’T be cancer.
hair loss is from the radiation treatments, not the cancer itself.
i think you should use less shampoo. because if you use a lot shampoo it might cause your hair loosing. and also try to eat vegi that have green .. example brocolli . and it is ok to lose about 100 string of hairs a day .
Three possible reasons:
1. Genetics is making your hair fall out at an early age (when did your dad/mom start losing there hair, if yet?)
2. Genetics has some sort of code for you that your hair will think out to make way for more hair later on.
3. Stressing out can make your hair start falling out. Its been proven.
well, lucky you i have been suffering from hair loss since i was 15, i’m 18 now.
it started when i moved to florida actually.
i am not sure what caused it, but every year i have terrible shedding phases, my hair used to be so thick that stylists would cringe at the thought of having to blow dry, and style it.
it’s very thin now, my ponytail is a little thicker than a sharpie marker, but i deal with it.
i’ve seen many doctors and dermatologists, i’ve had a scalp biopsy, and a TON of blood work. all which have came back normal. i have very little stress in my life as well.
first off, you need to eat, and eat HEALTHY. this could very well possibly be because you are anemic now. hair loss from anemia occurs because of low iron and protein levels in the body. I recommend taking all your vitamins, not cheap vitamins either, the good ones, you get what you pay for.
Biotin, Vitamins B, Inositol, Vitamins A, C, and E. make sure you’re getting plenty of iron and protein in your diet as well.
If your certain your daily shed of hair is exceeding 150 hairs a day, i really recommend seeing a doctor and getting blood work done for under active or over active thyroid, as well as iron levels.
if they turn out to be normal, and your still hair being shed in exceeded amounts (after you have been eating healthy and taking vitamins for a month or two) go to a dermatologist and see what he/she says.
Another cause of hair loss could very well be any form of birth control involving hormones. If you have also been through a traumatic event or underwent a surgery than your hair condition would be known as telogen effluvium, it is characterized by sudden, diffuse hair loss caused by an interruption in the normal hair growth cycle. This interruption is often the result of trauma, such as chemotherapy, childbirth, puberty, major surgery, severe stress, and severe chronic illness. This trauma causes large numbers of hair follicles to enter a stage of telogen, or rest, simultaneously. After roughly 3 months of the telogen cycle the follicles will enter the anagen cycle, a stage of growth. The old hair will be forced out of the follicle by a new hair that is formed beneath it. This will cause a period of diffuse hair shedding. This condition is usually self correcting and can affect people of all ages.
however it is very difficult for a dermatologist or hair loss specialist to detect telogen effluvium as only you know your past and not them.
It could also be genetics, you can get your hair mapped out for miniaturization, this can tell the hair loss specialist if you have a hair loss process going on, what pattern of hair loss you have and the overall health of the hair based on different parts of the scalp.
i’ve discovered doctors and dermatologists have very little knowledge about hair, as it is the most poorly understood part of the human body.
just be gentle with your hair and keep the stress down in your life. the body tells you it is unhealthy by abnormal amounts of hair loss.
Bad nutrition can be a cause of hair loss. Other than that, it might just be genetics. You should probably see a doctor thought, because it could be a sign of some illness or another. It could be because of stress, but maybe you just have bad hair genes (it happens. I knew a fiteen year odl who was going gray). I’d sugfest you definitly see a doctor, and if it’s not anything health related, buy a good wig. Or wear hats a lot maybe.
You have so much stress going on at the moment. You need to have some order and planning going on in your life, and gradually as you feel calmer and less stressed the problem will sort itself out. I use http://www.flylady.org site to sort me out and they have links to other sites for planning meals etc which should help.
Sounds like alopoecia and yeah stress can cause it.
Also lack of protein can be a source.
Fortunately, it seems that alopecia in women is usu reversible.
