Hair loss problem????? HELP!?

Im 16 years old. Ive ruined my hair by dying it to black. after that, it went through many dyes and my hair is ruined. its multicolored and Im going through hair loss.

I used to have amazing huge hair and now its very few :/
I was wondering some questions.

1- Will I lose more hair and be bald in the future?
2- Does hair grow again in the place of a fallen hair? (Can my hair be like before again?)
3- is my only solution is to stop the hair loss OR do I have any chance of going back to my old huge hair again?

thank u.

I’ve suffered from damaged, processed/dyed hair AND hair loss, so I can help with your questions:

    1) You may lose a little more hair, but if you start taking really good care of your hair RIGHT NOW, then the damage should stop.

    2) Yes! Hair does grow again in the place of a fallen hair, (Unless the follicle itself has died, and that doesn’t really happen unless you have a horrid disease or have been in a nuclear attack) so don’t worry about that. Your hair is growing back right now. :)

    3) If the hair is very damaged, the only thing you can do is try and limit the damage by getting a good haircut and taking extremely good hair of the hair you’ve got left. Then you’ve gotta be patient and turn to either hair extensions, or get used to shorter hair! It grows slow, but it grows none the less.

    Hope this helps. :)

Your hair isn’t falling out, it is breaking off (happens when you damage it). Your hair will grow back just fine. You need to take good care of it to stop the breakage, try not to blow dry it (blow drying takes 90% of hairs moisture out) or curl or straighten it for a while. Condition it with a good conditioner (not from walmart). Leave it on for about ten minutes in a warm environment and then rinse it out with as cold of water as you can stand. Your hair will just have to grow back and that will take time, but it will eventually return to normal.

I went through the same thing my 6th grade year when I got a perm and colored my hair. Terrible, I know. And don’t worry you aren’t going bald. You hair is breaking off due to damage. It will grow back.

    You should:
-stop straightening, blow drying and towel drying your hair.
(If you can’t limit how much you do it)
-go through hair care treatments for damaged hair. You can go to a salon for that or look online for home-hair care treatments.
    -get regular trims
-try eating foods that are good for your hair. (ex.nuts)
-take vitamins like skin hair and nail vitamins or prenatal vitamins. You can find those at places like GNC, whole foods store etc.

naga y, One of my co-workers started loosing his hair at an early age. After many different herbal, over the counter remedies, and crazy stuff from the Internet, he finally decided to visit a hair loss clinic. At first he was nervous to go becasue of the costs, but he learned a lot from the free consultations. After 6 months he is starting to regain some hair. Sorry I don’t know more about his treatment, but maybe you could call a local clinic. http://www.hairlossandtreatment.com

My dad had been suffering from hair loss and only recently he started to see a huge difference with his hair (lots of fine hair growing out especially at the temple area) after trying out the various natural techniques taught to grow hair for 1 week at this website http://www.regrowmyhair.info

I must say its a very informative, effective and easy to follow step-by-step guide. I highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering from hair loss.

And i assure you that you won’t find this natural hair growing techniques on the internet.

    Hope it helps ! =)
