Hair loss in men?

19 June 2009 3 Comments

Why do men worry so much about going bald? Is it that they think it's unattractive or it makes them look old?

I mean Bruce Willis is physically gorgeous (imo) and I think it suits him and he looks better the way he is.

In fact, I think the only unattractive thing about men being bald is when they're so self-conscious about it that you're scared to speak in case you upset them! If they make jokes about it or just act like they don't care then they are equally as attractive as if they had a full head of hair.

What do you think? The reason I ask is that my brother is almost 30 and he's depressed about losing his hair and I can't understand why he thinks it's such a bad thing, as I think he looks great just the way he is.

In my unprofessional opinion…the younger you are the more peer pressure you are under. He will grow out of this, and learn that bald is beautiful. I have and I'm not that much older than him.

Put yourself in his position and ask yourself how confident you would feel if you started loosing your hair?

Hi, I can relate to what GiGi and jetmech are saying and its true to a large extent. According to this site:

some studies have been done on this, and one of the findings is that bald men feel less physically attractive!
