Am I losing my hair, is it thinning, or what’s going on?

11 July 2009 3 Comments

I haven’t used shampoo in my hair for over a month and a half – maybe two months. Two months ago when my hair was wet, I couldn’t see my scalp. However, now, 2 months later (after not using shampoo for two months), my scalp is very visible. Could not using shampoo for 2 months contribute to hair thinning or hair loss or whatever this is?

There is a 99.99% chance that you will wake up bald tomorrow.

your hair could just be really greasy from not washing it. which will cause your hair to fall limp and part in weird ways that may also show your scalp.

wash your hair. dry it, and if you still see your scalp, you may be balding. if you don’t, it’s cause by the dirt in your hair.

and no, not shampooing won’t cause you to lose your hair. the only things that you probably can get it is head lice [if you have dreads, or haven't combed your hair either because lice like to hide in dark, matted hair]

but wash it, and see what happens with your scalp.
